It is white powder in appearance. It is easily soluble in organic solvents such as benzene, chloroform and cyclohexane. It is slightly soluble in ethanol, acetone, and insoluble in water, alcohol, etc. Polar solvent, slightly soluble in esters. Applications Antioxidant 168 is a secondary antioxidant with excellent resistance to extraction by water, low volatility and high heat stability. It can effectively decompose hydroperoxides produced during the processing of polymeric materials. It isn’t usually used alone,compounded with hindered phenolic primary antioxidants such as Antioxidant 1010,1076 to improve thermostability of polymer during the processing. There are over ten kinds of blends of Antioxidant 168 with phenolic antioxidants, widely use in the polymer materials, such as polylefins (eg.PP,PE etc.), polyamide, polycarbornate, ABS and so on . Storage Stable in property. No special requirement but keep ventilation and away from water and high temperature. Packing 20kg or 25kg net paper bags lined with polyethylene film bags.
